Rectangular puzzles, commonly referred to as Gem Puzzles, Boss Puzzles, the Game of Fifteen, or Mystic Squares, along with their various adaptations, including those featuring images, consist of a collection of identical square tiles marked with numbers. These tiles are positioned within a rectangular container, which contains one vacant square space. The objective of the game is to organize the tiles in ascending numerical order by shifting them within the container, ideally minimizing the number of moves required.
